nice... love the VW logo... did you custom that yourself? and what is that material under the steel plate?(inside the VW logo)

car was about 20k

yah, i machined it into the aluminum with a turn table and a mill. i kind of rushed it, since i got sick of not having my deck mounted. i'll probably redo that a little differently in the future. the brown stuff is laquer primer, used it to fill the marks from machining, before using epoxy primer and topcoat.
