Cut off the lower half of your door panels. Make an edge from 1/2" mdf that will give you the basic structure. Make some speaker rings, support them properly and in the right angles. Remove the thing from your car after making sure you can close the door still. Stretch a piece of fleece over the whole thing, staple it to the back of the edge piece. Make sure your curves are in the right places, pull the fleece tighter in some to make it right. Apply resin to the fleece. Make it strong. On the inside, fill it with expanding foam to give it real structure, except behind the speakers of course. Smooth it out with bondo. Smooth it some more. Smooth it some more. Make it perfect, take your time. Paint it.
