I'm new to building fiberglass boxes and my questions is how do I figure out the cubic feet needed for my speakers when the box is not conventional shape? I have 2 Strokers 15D2 with 4 memphis 1000D's. Thanks for any help

Using packing peanuts. Fill the enclosure and then take the peanuts out and place them in an enclosure of known size--and do the math from there.

that seems kind of hit or miss, what if you build a prototype FG box and it is WAY off in size? build another and try again? that could get time consuming,

Water is very accurate for a sealed enclosure, its not hit or miss at all.
If its ported though packing peanuts are much easier and it will put you within a negligable difference.

Yeah, packing peanuts is the way to go. Make ESITMATES of the volume you need, and shoot for more space than less. If you get it wrong, you can always add material inside, just makes it stronger. With packing peanuts, they do not compress easily, so the amount that fits into your enclosure will be almost what the amount fits into, say, a single cuft box (12x12x12, for the rookies.) Besides, You'll probably want to go back and add some blocks of wood to test different box volumes anyways, if you're really gonna compete. Every .10th helps. Water ruins wood... we almost all use wood in some part of the enclosure... Don't use water...
