I found a local plastic guy, he makes mostly signs, but can make just about anything. Anything I want made out of acrylic or polycarbonate, I would make it out of MDF and just bring it to him and say "make this exact thing, but clear." [Big Grin] They will probaly have pieces laying around to make your project, so you don't have to buy a big sheet.

hd will carry plexi but not in thick pieces, usually 1/8" is the thickest stuff youll find... all depends on what your looking to do i suppose.

go to a glass shop theyll have what ya need [Big Grin] i got a peice of 3/4" plexi thats like 41x17 i think sittin in my room

you must have a cool plexiglass guy. i checked with mine and they wanted about 150 bucks for 1inch thick by about 2ft square. i was like ummmmm NO......
