Anyone have experience working with concrete floor and walls inside their SPL vehicules? My main concern is when the vehicule is moved from place to place, did you has any problems with the concrete breaking apart, cracking, or moving. Should i make some dilatation joint within the flook to make it more flexible fot the temperature, and/or moving?

Also, how thick a floor (or wall) should be to be effective. I was thinking at a 3 inches, with iron bars spread within the concrete to reinforce the structure.

Regards.

Warning, SPL In excess of 140 dB can severly affect your ears. Please turn to 160 and up so you can go deaf and never bother with this again.

I've never used concrete in a vehicle, but reinforcing it with rebar is definitely the way to go!

Also, you might want to put joints in any corners so when the vehicle flexes it wont break the concrete. Fill the joints with silicone to seal it up.
