Clay certainly worked hard for that score. Thats no easy feat. I thought you might like that your amps are getting some good scores in Bass Race also.

If you can do 160+ to music why not show it off? Even if there isnt a class for it. Maybe if more guys show there 160s maybe Wayne will consider making it a class.

but still an awesome score
i wouldnt say "a number of people" id say maybe a few.
-perillos van which wont pull that number anymore since its being build for SM -steve mick maybe -maybe Tommy's truck
but once again its the same thing that goes for burping scores. many people might claim they can be that high or are expected to be capable of that score but to my knowledge nobody has done it.
and all this on only 8 12 volt batts too. Truely an amazing build. And for a great guy...Clay deserves to be the worlds loudest.
Hopefully theres a 60-69.9 class next year so he can go in it and my build will slip nicely in his place in 50-59.9 class
Although I have a feeling if theres a 69.9 class that it will be dominated by Terras playing Euro trance that peaks in the 74hz range solidly. With all the batts they can fit and the enclosures straight outta the SPL setups I dont forsee them having a problem at all breaking 160 in bassrace. Thats why we need a frequency cap bigtime

I'm pretty sure ProTruck's van will do 161-162 as well.
not trying to take anything away from Clay. That score is rowdy as crenshaw

Granted Bass Race has no certified scores but just look at the shows to see if it was a multipoint event. Here are the official standings in Bass Race.

You know that there is no such class as the 160+ so the leaderboard has no value...
PLUS the fact that the leaderboard is not updated...Trust me the record is over 162 and was done at the Athens Motorshow Live event...

I really hope that they make a 160-164.9 class for next year. Just so Clay can really let the wang out and show the world what he can do. And all in a Jimmy, not an astro, panda or terra. Gotta love it.
Keep in mind he's only using 8 batts in that truck and they're 12 volt. Can see a big gain coming there!
Im excited to get my junk done and compete against him.

Yes that is the current record. Did i notice this vehicle has plexi windows? Is it a street legal vehicle? I dont think vehciles like that should be allowed to compete in a class designed for street beating vehicles. Maybe a new rule should be put into bassrace about stock glass, and being street legal.

Yes it has plexi glass windows...But it is not against the rules...
However i have to agree with you...Extreme vehicles have to be banned from Bass Race.
Additionaly a certified CD should be implemented for use in all Events...
