Hello

We just created this thing

150Wrms x 4, full range, D class, and very small, will be the smaller of a new high-power 4ch line.

The power was made WITHOUT the heatsink, the amp is very nice, not much heating losses.

150 WRMS x4 in how many ohms ?? rated at 12.7 volts ??

Bah... giving the 2ohm rating of a 4ch. amp is useless since 99% of component sets are 4ohm. [Razz]

Is this power rated @ pink noise or @ 1kHz BURP [Eek!] [Laugh] ??

Shouldnt B a few more capacitors down there ??
As far as I know mosfets (TO220) can not dissipat more than few wats without heatsink... So Im really suprised that U made this power without heatsink - for how long it can be like that ?? 1?? 2min ?? otherwice wo is the point to increse retail price of the heatsink if this amp dont need it ??

Peter, the measurements will be shown soon.

D-Bass no fuse on this first prototype.

Right now more than 100W on 4 ohms.

Mark, do you know what is the resistance of your cables? If you are using less than 0AWG for your speakers, a 5000 DF will be greatly reduced. [Smile]

The capacitance of the power supply is calculated for the design and power, is a D class amp, no big losses. I never stated it won't need heatsink.
