Those of you who are going to the Lowrider show in chicago this weekend, the correct address is, 3501 South Laramie Ave.,Chicago IL.60804. If you follow the map that is on the forum you will be about 8 miles north of where the show is really at.They just forgot to put the "South" in the address. "Hawthorne Racway" is the correct name for the facility. Type in the correct address on Map Quest, and you will see the coorect location.

Steve, we can put the port in at the show, or since your an early bird like me, you can come over to my place and we can do it here. I only live about 4 miles from the track. I have know idea how they are going to park use at the show,and if we will have power available to run the jig saw. If its anything like Indy, my truck and trailer was parked 1/2 mile from where the show took place. I am sure that the tow trucks and trailers will be parked away from where the show will take place. Being a lowride show, its going to be a really big show, since its in Chicago. Let me know.
PS: I hope the show is outside, the fumes at Indy were killing me, the security was so tight, they kept all thr doors closed.

Gary, Hodag17 Is trying to get directions from his place in Wisconson, and when we both put in his adress and the adress for the show that you stated, it says we will have to turn onto North Laramie from Lawrence Ave, and drive only .1miles.. So is it North Larmie or South???

Yeah, could someone help me out here? I will be coming into town on I-90 If i put in south laramie into any map program thing i have, i still get a north laramie address... anybody on here who can give me more exact directions?

OK take i-90 to 294 go south to 290 east says chicago take that to cicero ave then go south to 35th street and your there, cant miss it. the reason map queast is coming up with a north larmie st is that hawthorn race course is located in the suburb of cicero. hawthorn race course is inbetween larmie and cicero . ... hope this helps.
