I plan on attending, but i would MUCH rather it be in Dallas. Theres just more USACI members near Omaha is the main reason they are leaning towards it i think.

i love usaci format but i think this will be the end for them? there are way more folks in TX that compete, oh well this will only give ammo to some new Orgs set to launch in 08

Ralph has already said there are just as many people competing in that area as there are in Dallas. I think it's awesome to keep it in a more central location.

not if they stay around the sema show date, also the emails are rolling in and many tx heavy hitters are now calling it quits and i think that market area stays busy in the reg season it could be a good finals which i think not but it will end Usaci rule in tx, more gear goes up for sale each day

I still think they should just vote and have 2 or 3 locations to switch between each year. only way to keep the organization around, and the sport for that matter

Someone has put an INFO topic over on usaci, with a pic of the place and links to various places in the area.

The center looks REALLY nice! I've never been to Nebraska, kinda lookin forward to it.

You KNOW you want to go to Nebraska Justin, so quit playin. [Big Grin]

I have a feeling, after allllll the complaining and bitching, it will be a huge success and everyone will love the place. It actually looks pretty cool. I'm HOPING the Budweiser gang will go now, since it's not too far of a drive, because I don't think they're goin to Drag finals now.

I'm not planning on going. I don't think anyone else is either. We may change out mind before then, though. Who knows.

Funny thing about usac finals is it will probably be about the import cars again like last year and have all the lights down. I think this show will put usac in a further decline with its longtime competitors, i mean finals this year might be good cause its first time in omaha but after that don't hold your breath on big crowds.

I really hope they don't have the lights off again. I have been watching finals since it came to KC. I competed in 03. When I went up the escalator in 06 and the lights were off, I didn't think they actually opened up the show yet.

I am not sure about the attendance going up. I believe the people from Omaha would have driven to KC if they really wanted to watch the Finals. But maybe the Dakota people will now come down to see what is going on. You just never know though.
