I am trying this new format here in NYC that is not very scientific but has crowd participation. It's not your Bassrace, Usaci or MECA types, it's more catered to the streets and you have championship titles in different catergories up for grabs... How does it sound so far?

so is it more of how low you system can go then JUST how loud it is or is it along the same lines but instead of meters it the crowds favorite wins?

It was a complete failure. To many people there and people acting crazy. It was completely underground and next time will have too do it a venue with security. So disappointed

thanks guys, I just wanted to change the atmosphere here in NY but I see that some people don't appreicate it even though the show was for free and about 2000-2500 people showed up in three weeks of advertising.

That's a pretty good turnout. I can see where it would be hard to control. There was a show here about a year ago that didn't have nowhere near that attendance and yet a fight broke out.

These motha****as, you can't do nothing for them because they will **** it up and thing is that it was for free. What else can you ask for. A decision didn't go to one of their members and it was like they has 10K on the line.

Deephitters, I see what you're trying to do but without a measuring stick that is not subjective ie a meter, people are going to be upset when they lose and look for excuses.
PS - Thats a sick truck u have and a cool site you got going on too bro. Stay up.

Thanks for the comments and I tried to do something nice and not charge but I was wrong but chalk it up to a learning experience.

Hey man I bought the Deephitters Mag at Books a Million the other night, pretty cool stuff, but its still geared toward more "pretty" stuff instead of the loud streetbeaters.
You coming to any shows down south?

First thank you very much for supporting us and in every issue I mix it up. From your $200,000+ street cars to the $2,000 setups. I'm trying to give as much spread coverage as possible. You'll be surprised how they sound in real life, I'm talking about the coment on the pretty stuff but the magzine is growing and adopting to different things. Thanks for the feedback. Which issue did you p/u? and which Books a million did you purchase it?
I will be going to a few shows down south but don't know which ones at this point, I'll let you know as soon as I do.

Thank you for asking, yes i am but like I said before, I try to put SPL in there because it's a street publication but I do feature it from time to time, just go to deephitters.org under subscribe section. In the future I will do at least two features articles on SPL thanx again, -BeastFromDaEast

i'm not exactly sure on the issue number, the issue had 2 h2s, one with no wheels and a pretty nice fiberglass setup.
I mean don't get me wrong man its a great read for sure, and i'm sure its geared toward the more "real" street beaters that don't compete but just cruise, and its cool to see different setups then i'm used to.
And i picked it up at Books a Million in Pigeon Forge TN
