I have a 02 Bonneville. I would like to compete in Street A for DB Drag Racing. I have a single 12" sub that I want to fire upward through my rear deck. The car has a giant plastic piece held in by 6 screws covering the rear deck. I removed this plastic piece and there is now a 20"x36" opening into the trunk via where the plastic rear deck used to be. All the support seems to be in the form of the surrounding metal which I have not cut or altered in any way. If I fire the sub and port upward through this hole and seal the bow face to the underside of what was the deck lid, will this be legal in Street A? I would also like to build a new cover for the rear deck cover that was there as to allow more air flow. I would make the sides cover the metal that is part of the vehicle and fiberglass a mesh in between the side pillars s to create a smooth flowing contour. If it looks nice and is carpet covered and doesn't stick out much more (if any) than the factory deck, will that affect my class? Also the factory battery location for the vehicle is under the rear seat. That means it is legal to upgrade the stock battery, but keep it in the stock location even though it is in the passenger compartment right? I can get pictures if necessary...

Put in rules and questions and you should get a answer.
