I don't think Ft. Dodge has ever seen a LOUD vehicle before. I think the loudest they ever miced was my Festy at like 158 on AC meters. So heck yeah I'm gonna go. They need to know how serious some of us are. The more serious people show up the more they might look into holding sanctioned shows next year. YOU ALL NEED to come to Ft. Dodge. H.O. alternators will be there!!! It's there LAST show of the year. EVERYONE BRING IT. If you want sanctioned shows next year you NEED to be there. That's the point of H.O. going. They said they would come down and show Ft. Dodge what kind of turtnout it would be if it was sanctioned. So come show your support for DB Drag. If we have a good turnout we get sanctioned shows if the turnout sux no shows next year. BRING EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see your point RFL. I might have to make it up there after all. I usually keep the night before free, just in case I take my car apart and then put it back together. I guess I could do that tonight. I know Cyclone has a competition for local people, and I have been talking to them a little bit about having a show. Then there was quite a few at the American Store in Johnston. Then there is hardly anyone showing up at the DB Drag in August at Merle Hay Mall. Weather could have been a factor. Maybe the word needs to get out more on the Mini Street Classes. Most of the people that go to Cyclone and American would be perfect for Mini Street. Granted I don't know how much advertising is done at local shops, but I am sure the word gets out on the local DB Drag shows. I would be willing to go to the local shops and put up flyers. Maybe I need to throw a DB Drag sticker on my car or wear a DB Drag t-shirt or something. I will have two frequency CDs with me if anyone wants to borrow one.

BTW: It's Mike. I know you from the USACi shows in K.C. I drive the black 2002 Cavalier with the wall. All RE equipment. Well it used to be, nothing anymore. I hang out with all the Loud & Clear guys.

I retired the Rockfords and now I have 2 12L7s in ported boxes and 2 Directed 1100ds for DB Drag. I will be running the L7s and a Kicker amp, hopefully, or a Diamond amp for USACi World Finals. The last two USACi shows I attended I hit a 149.2 and a 151.3 with the Diamond. The 151.3 was on a high mic. I probably won't do that well, but I am hoping to have a lot of fun. I have slowed down competing in USACi since I got my 200 points, and have been competing in DB Drag since they were closer to me.

Just wanted to let everyone know that after the show Friday night we will be attempting to break "Mr. Ministreet" Dean Hazen's Iowa State record in the class of MSD 2. PLEASE come help us take the only thing this guy has from this year!!!LOL PLEASE bring a 1000d of any kind for us to throw into a CRX to shatter his hopes and dreams.LOL We NEED a Rockford BD 1000. So If any of you have or know someone that has one PLEASDE bring it. We NEED it. Or a memphis 1000d

How about a Directed 1100d? 475x1@4ohm. 1ohm stable. Not sure what the rules are for that class. I could guarantee two of those will be there.

Ok. The amp's advertised power......I think an 1100 would be 1100 unless you have literature saying otherwise. Bring the literature/specs. Rules for this class is 2 woofers no bigger than 12s. No more than 1000 watts. Battery.....HE HE HE. Lets just say that the amp NEEDS to be capable of running off 16-18 volts. It wil;l be put on a Batt cap. The BIG one. Who has the 12" L7s??? Can we use them??? What impedence are they????

Yes, it is 1100 watts at 1ohm. I do have a pair of dual 4 L7s that are somewhat broken in, and a pair of dual 2 L7s that aren't that broken in.

I will bring up both pairs. So you will atleast have the subs for sure. I will bring up an amp that puts out a little under 1000 watts. I just called Archer, and it starts at 6:30. That should give me plenty of time to get up there. I will bring up some tools just in case.
