Just wanted to let everyone know that there will be a MTX Thunder 9500 15" Sub at Extreme Auto Fest in Pheonix, AZ on May 10. It will be in the back of a 1993 VW Carroda with a new 1501D and also a Thunder 942. We should have the install done tomorrow night. It is, weighs around 60LBS and the 15" has a mounting depth of 11"

just out of curiousity..anyone know what possessed them to use the same series name as DD? I don't want speculation or a flame war...i'm just curious why they settled on 9500.

Maybe it had something to do with the fact that their last series of subs ended with 8000???
