What Austin comp are you talking about? I looked on slap and iasca events and there is not one listed and I dont remember one ever being listed.

it used to be there but they took it off when it was canceled...it was acually in round rock..thats right by austin..at a minor league baseball stadium named dell diamond

nah it wasnt that...it was some bass compitition....but they got another one for june 16 so its all good.....hey is that thing your talking about at dell diamond?

hey tyler... i have a friend that just moved to round rock... dunno how big of a town it is, but if you see a 6'7" guy working at a club there or at the chick fil a tell him i said hi..small world

hey dude i was lookin around on this site and they said they got one in austin somewhere on north lamar on june 16th....i dont know whos putting it on though but i thought it was iasca doin it. i dont even know if its still even going to happen so i dunno.

North Lamar there is a place called Vision Sounds, it is a car audio place that is in the same building as Collision Specialists. Same owner, but they use the stereo store as the office for a auto body shop about 3 blocks away. Dont think that was it as I was just in there a couple days ago and didnt hear anything of it soooooooo...........Anyone find anything out about it????
Yes, the Texas Heat Wave is the car show at the Dell Diamond. DB Drag was going to be there for a 3x pointer, but I am nearly sure they cancelled too.......Any other comps in Austin that anyone knows of? I would like to get metered again......

Dyer Electronics maybe? or Texas wireless and radio? Wish I had know about it I would have looked a little harder, however the day has come and gone and obviously I didnt know about it.

i went over to that car audio place on sam bass in RR and they said the tx heat wave is still on...june 20-22....yah they got aout 800 ppl entrys and that store has 9 cars in it...but ill be gone of course..biggest comp of the yr in tx and ill be gone.....yah i got the little booklet thing right here....i got all the info on it if you need it email me....but yah its still on woooooooo.

i forgot what the store is called but....you know where highway 79 is...yah so if your going north on 35 exit like as if your going to go on 79 where dairy queen is and kfc and long john silvers...yah that part....go on that exit and take a left and go straight through the light and the road turns into SAM BASS...and theres another light by a post office and gas station...go straight and cross some railroad tracks and its on the right....right after the tracks
hope that tells you where it is. yah its pretty nice and thats where i got the packetdeal for tx heat wave....there also gonna install all my new stuff when ever i get it.

Were they the ones that were going to have the comp? Man, sure would be nice to see some car stereo shows/comps in Austin.........Is the store you are talking about shutting down?

I got my entry form in the mail yesterday, and IASCA is still on the sheet, so they just might be there!

hey iv like never competed so can you compete with like crappy subs? i got 2 mtx 4000 12's and wanted to know if im even able to compete. ill be getting those masses soon but im a cheap ass right now so i still have crap. so like this this cool to compete with? or no?

The name of that shop in Round Rock is called "Detail Pro Audio" it is owned and operated by Jeff and Angie McCoy, nice people. I never heard of or knew of the place til I saw the directions on this post. I stopped by today to see what they had to offer as far as power and distribution and met them for the first time. They seem to know their gear they carry and seem to be knowledgeable to help out most anyone.
