SBN will be having a $2000 purse for Bass Boxing this year.
That means $400 to each first Place winner in the Bandshell at Daytona this year.

Bassboxing seems to be dominated by Florida at SBN. Can't see spending another $80 to not win.

bass boxing is strong in fl but anything can happen, walt you would be in lawyerboys class and his subs are hurt from the last show , so i dont see him doind as well as he normally does.

Don't get me wrong, I like Bassboxing. I had fun when I did it in Thomasville, GA.
However, I'm already registered for four classes.
Probably shouldn't have done Bass Race. I'll have to see how well my subs handle it all. Maybe next time.

well i hear through the grape vine that there was BS with all of this!!

a good buddy WON his class but got DQed .

now im not saying anything but i am saying that he used a CD that he asked 5 times was ok and was told yes.

he then went on to beat one of the judges for the win and was DQed for the same CD he was told he could use...

BS if you ask me!!

so they did end up dqing toby?

he would have waxed there ass with any cd, wouldn't have mattered imo.

I did see the guy jump out of his car and complain about a cd being commericially available.

yah, in my opinion it was kind of crappy what happened to Toby. I was there for the conversation between Toby and IASCA and I wouldn't have been pleased either.

I feel for Toby, just there to have fun and compete and was always falling in the middle of something he really had nothing to do with.
hope to see ya back next year.
there was alot of rules broken during bass boxing but it was there first time runing bassbaoxing with the new rules and didnt want to listen to anyone so it bit iasca in the butt. maybe they will take this experence and learn from it, only time will see if they do.
see some of ya at the next show....
