the IASCA World record event rules are the 2006 rules. the 2007 rules wont start till jan. 2007 then all records are reset for the year. You ask for a World record IASC event and now ya not even coming .... There will be more competitors at this show then they had at in IASCA finals at Nopi....

I was under the assumption that since finals was over this was the 2007 season, like all of the other orgs.

It is the 07 season, but the world records for iasca don't reset until Jan. Not sure how the rules play into this, I'll have to defer that to Rad.

My name is Diana Tindle and I am the Sales Manager for BY THE SEA RESORTS (www.bythesearesorts.com) in Panama City Beach , FL. I understand that you are hosting a car show at Club LaVela December 2, 2006. I was wondering if you or any of the participants will need hotel accommodations. Our hotels include Beachcomber by the Sea, Legacy by the Sea and Beachbreak by the Sea. With accommodations ranging from economy to luxury we have the right room to meet everyone’s needs and budget.
Even better, we are currently running an excellent promotion through the month of December. Bring in a canned good between November 12 and December 25, 2006 and get 15% off the regular rate when you book directly with BY THE SEA RESORTS. Your donation will help restock the Panama City Rescue Mission's food bank for the holidays. One discount per room per stay and the discount is applied at check in. Ten rooms or more and you can book as a group. I can set aside a block of rooms and each group member can call in to reserve a room from the block by paying their first night’s stay plus tax.
Legacy and Beachcomber are consistently ranked in the top five among Panama City Beach hotels and condominiums on www.tripadvisor.com, the third most popular travel site in the world where guests review hotels and even though Beachbreak is an older property, it is consistently ranked in the top twenty. All of our resorts are gulf-front with numerous amenities including FREE continental breakfast, private gulf-front balconies, fully-equipped kitchens and kitchenettes, gulf-front pools, gulf-front hot tubs, laundry facilities, game rooms, cable with HBO 1 and 2, BIG discounts at area attractions and more.
Call me at 850-233-3600, ext. 228 before Friday 12/1/06 to inquire about availability, rates and to book your stay. You can also email me at diana@bythesearesorts.com. Any inquires after 12/1/06 please call our reservations department at 888-627-0625. Feel free to pass along this email to anyone you think would find it helpful. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you soon!

Wild show. I want to thank Funkin Audio and BatCap for sponsoring this event. I want to thank Chris O, LawyerBoy, Lozinit and Terry Jackson for judging this event. It was one busy day for IASCA and DB Drag and the car show was the topping on the cake. I want to thank all those who came out and wore frozen panties on your head and slammed eggs on you head , oh yea and all that cake on Jason's head. over $3000 in door prizes was awarded to the winners of some crazy games. Pic's will be up later tonite. I want to thnk Club Lavela fro letting us host gitter dun SPL Finals right there on the beach. Records were broken and people moving up on the TOP 20 List. Great turn out and we will be right back on track in January so keep track the fun isnt over yet...
