heres one way it could happen....

USACI rents the venue....

usaci has area for spl...

usaci has area for sq...

usaci rents floor space to manufacture, and vendors...

usaci keeps gate, manufacture money, vendor money, usaci competitor entry money...

(THESE THINGS ALREADY HAPPEN)

USACI rents floor space to IASCA...

IASCA keeps its competitor entry...

USACI would have to rent the floor space at a rate in which IASCA could afford to participate..

IASCA would have to charge an appropriate fee to its competitors..

each would get mnore crossover competitors.. right now they both share about a dozen cross over competitors...

this could also work with MECA DB DRAG..

just thoughts...

ive been a die hard USACi and IASCA competitor for years,, and would love to see something great happen!!

How about we GIVE IASCA, dB Drag, and MECA the space at Bartle for free. No payout to USACI of any kind for any expense. USACI will pay all expenses for hall, advertising, security, etc. Each group would have only trophy (USACI trophy could provide those at wholesale) and hotel expenses, keep all their entry fees, and share in profits from any new exhibitors they brought to the show. They come in with no up front cost and virtually no financial exposure. All benefit and no exposure.

That is the same offer made to IASCA last year. It was never withdrawn and is still on the table for 2005.

We all know Paul and I have issues and hard feelings. The reason there was no joint finals had to do with personal conflicts and nothing to so with the above logistics. I am known to hold a grudge as I have seen Paul can. This joint event is too important to the future of the organizations and I will put any personal problems behind me to make this happen. I sincerely hope Paul will do the same. If Paul will come to the table to work on this event I am positive that any and all peripheral issues we have can be put on the table and be amicably rectified for the betterment of the industry. I sincerely hope I am not the only organization head who sees the serious and irreversible damage continued divisions amongst the organizations will have on this sport.
