For stock 1-160 it states you can run 1 amp and one cap per sub with 1 extra batt...so this is my question....in Street A of DB DRag i run 3 8L7s and one 1200.1...in idbl i can add 2 more 1200.1s and an extra batt??

Yup... but don't forget that 3 8" L7's is more than 160 sq in. so you would be placed in Stock 2. [Wink]

3 round 8's equal 150, 3 square 8's equal 192 (8 x8 then mutliplied by 3). The chart says "round" speaker calculations.

Everyone knows that the 8" L7's are actually 64 sq. in. 3 x 64 = 192.

The woofer chart is just a guideline for round subs. The L7's are an exception [Wink]

(I'm not trying to burst your bubble or anything, this is just how the shows are run)

It kind of sucks but rules are rules.....i meen and L7 is no better than a comparible round sub...and there are plenty of round subs that are louder...DDs, Atomics, Shockers and Res...and many more......
