There is going to be an IASCA TKE in conjunction with the Extreme Autofest going on at the Coors Amphitheater (Chula Vista, Ca).
Some of the sickest vehicles in the scene will be at this show, some of the finest installs. This show always has a great turnout, packed wall to wall with some smooth sleds. More blowers than a gardening convention More body mods than Newport Beach More NOS than 2F&2F .. (well actually they are neck in neck)
Seriously, guys and gals, if you are in the area or can be, we'd love to see you out there. You can see the event info at http://www.iasca.com as well as http://www.extremeautofest.com. Registration will be $40.00 at the door.
If an IASCA IdBL World Record is what you desire.. Look no further! ! ! ! ! At this show, if ANY IASCA member hits a score worthy of such a title, your name will be raised up there with the elite of competition, and envied by those that are not. There are 12 classes, and twelve World Records, could you be at the top of the list? I know of two vehicles that are coming out with World Records set in their sights.
Our judges are some of the best in the industry and can/will offer loads of feedback. Armed with advice from these judges, you can make adjustments to your awesome system and get even better. A true learning experience for those that are new, and a challenge for those are aged.
Awards to be given out &... --------------- Prize Money --------------- (standard) I've sat down and worked out what I think is fair to both the competitors and to me (novel concept), so as to be consistent.
-SQ Competitors- - Power Classes will not be used unless there are four (4) or more cars in both power classes (1-600 & 601+). - In classes of three (3) or more the winner of each class will be refunded his/her entry fee. - When the attendance of SQ cars total more than 15. There will be an additional prize awarded to the HIGHEST SQ SCORE of the day. If there is a tie, the winner will be judged in the same manner as a tie during competition.
-SPL Competitors- - In classes of three (3) or more the winner of each class will be refunded his/her entry fee. - When the attendance of SPL cars total more than 15. There will be an additional prize awarded to the HIGHEST SPL SCORE of the day. If there is a tie, head-to-head eliminations will determine the winner.
--------------- Prize Money --------------- (Additional all classes / all formats This event only) In classes of three (3) or more the winner of each class will be refunded his/her entry fee and second place will be refunded 1/2 of his/hers entry fee. In classes of two (2) or more the winner of each class will be refunded 1/2 of his/her entry fee.
