Are ipods allowed in competitions? Inside the vehicle? Outside the vehicle?

Are you refering to SPL or SQ?

Mainly spl, when burping cause skipping and bass not can't fully play! so that is where the ipod comes in, it has 25 min of skip protection.

if a 136.5 is making your cd player skip. then i would really look at how well it is installed. mine doesnt even skip at 150db's JMO. but if you r trying to break a world record in IASCA then you would have to use the IASCA disc provided at the show. so that mean you would have to use your cd player. but no where does it say you cant take your cd player out and hold it or hold it outside your car.

the 136.5 isn't making my cd player skip, I put a different sub in and then the skipping started. A world record I don't think will happen this year for me [Wink] But thanks for the response and answering to my question!!

The judge allowed my ipod in the competition-I does .7 db lower than a cd with my current set-up. Kinda cool though!! A whopping 139 and change with an ipod-funny
