Will there ever be any IASCA shows or comps around Mississippi? Or Louisiana? Or Alabama? I want to get involved with IASCA and dBdrag sooooo bad, but if there are never comps within a 4 hour radius of myself then I guess I'll have to keep the interest I have in SPL and SQ to myself [Frown]

I attended 4 shows in Alabama last year. 2 were in Boaz, 1 in B'ham, 1 in Dothan, and a couple I didn't make it to were in Enterprise and Elba. Mississippi generally has a few USACi shows, and Lousiana generally has one big show around Mardi Gras.

This year's schedule is still up in the air. I feel comfortable that the Wild Bill's in Boaz will have a show or two. Boaz is two hours from Tuscaloosa so that should fit in your 4 hour radius.

Yeah I was looking at the calendar and I saw where there was a Wild Bill's IASCA show in July I think. I know the season is dead for now... when should I start looking for shows coming up in Alabama and Louisiana?

there are shows in AL, some in the FL panhandle as well. keep checking the iasca website and soundoff.net as thats Terrys site who does most of the shows in the area and usually has the shows listed before they are put on the iasca website.

Smitty, Terry's retiring. I'm not sure who will be doing Alabama shows now. Hopefully Sammy will pick it up, but my gut tells me IASCA will be doing a good number of big shows (SVR, SSR, SBN, the Autofest tour, NOPI Atlanta, etc.) and a few smaller shows. Hopefully Bill McDowell will hold his in Boaz again.

Ben, do keeping checking IASCA's webpage though. It should be updated fairly soon with shows (at least we hope so).

WOW! IASCA at Wild Bill's. I will have to keep a watch on the IASCA calendar. I watched a WAC competition there in '95, I believe it was.

Thanks!

Jason,

Where are you at in Alabama?

Bill had shows for years called "Thunder on the Mountain" most were IASCA shows but I think he branched out to a few other organizations a few years.
