240 is in bits & pieces and he's workign on something new for ultimate expert, but is competing meantime with an Altima (I think wife's or daily driver).

He'll be running the Altima from here on out I'm pretty sure.
It's a sweet ass ride- and sounds great!!!

Ron, he told me he's working on a new expert ultimate car and wanted to run the lanes to be supportive of competition, that's why the Altima for the time being.

Scott's Altima is really nice install that is not over the top (the amp rack is really impressive--front and back).
Mark Eldridge had some real problems this weekend--- the 4 Runner would not start. It was pushed into the arena. He worked on it most of Saturday and when I talked to him Sunday he said it was the computer and could not be fixed until he got back home. So he gave up 10 points on each score sheet for the ISQC competition. I'm not sure if anyone else was in his class for the regular portion
Overall there were some GREAT sounding vehicles at the show. A pretty big step up in quality from last year. I probably listened to at least 20 vehicles and with the exception of really one, they all sounded incredible. Some great rookie cars.
Harry Jurgenson's Audi was great. You look at the speaker location and expect one thing, but hear something completely else. There was an individual from Canda with a Honda Accord and Illusion mids and Seas tweets that also sounded incredible.
Steve Cornell's car----words can't describe that vehicle. ----I heard from someone that it was for sale(????).
Jason Winslow's vehicle sounded great. That car has some serious power in it, and the install is evolving into a truely great car. When he has time to complete that vehicle he should be the one to beat in Street X.
Jason Ewing's car also incredible. Great midbass.
I have around 125 pictures from this weekend. It will probably be tonight before I can upload them though. About 5 or 6 of them are SPL vehicles, the rest are SQ vehicles.

Ron,
Nice meeting you. Your car also sounded very good. How did you end up doing in the ISQC?

Honestly, I don't know- I had to take off before the awards ceremony was done- when I left, they were still doing the tuner jam awards.
I'm anxious to see the full results.....

I finally got to put faces on a few of you.

Chris got home from Memphis around 5 am today. Nobody will be in the office today. I'd wager scores will be up sometime tomorrow on IASCA's site.

CarSound has fallen, and it can't get up! Perhaps IASCA world finals weekend wasn't the best time to switch servers...hmmmm...
Yes, I am running street now. Street-X to be precise. What an awesome weekend as I debuted my daily driver 2003 Nissan Altima...no, not the wife's car, it's my work car...
As for the 240SX, Krisa's right, it's in a thousand pieces. I am on the fence about bringing it back after last weekend. I had the greatest time in street!! The competition is equally as fierce, but there's no shenanigans that go on like in the expert ultimate lanes. There's very little political correctness, and we compete "with" eachother verses "against" eachother. I think maybe I'll just become a fixture for a while in Street-X with my Alty. And I am thinking that I'll just piece the 240 back together, weld a roll cage in it, and make a drift car out of it. But don't expect it back into the lanes anytime soon...if at all...street is too cool!!

Scott, I'd figured on it being back by yesterday, but now I'd wager we'll be lucky to see it by Friday. I told them to dump OT out to just stuff the past two weeks to keep it down on all the old logs they have to reload.
Dunno that will happen.
Welcome to Termpro.
I knew you'd love street class.

I loved the relaxed atmosphere too. It was fun being back in the lanes. I think everybody was about having a good time and listening to each others cars. That is what it should be about. That and listening to 80's hair bands really loud!
Now, if carsound would only get their act together.

I'm nudging the Robs where I can, but in addition to being responsible for the forum guys, they're also trying to get the IASCA finals coverage into the SEMA issue due out in two weeks. It's "that time of year."
Scott and Doug, welcome to the forum here at Termpro.
Congrats to both of you on finals, wish I'd been able to be there. Hope I get the chance to compete "with" you guys sometime soon (hmmmm Daytona?).

One of my Amps was giveing me trouble all morning and it went down right after SQ ,could never got it to sound right after that.but we did get it back for the last 2 sets of ISQ judges, but by then it was 2 late. I forget to take my charger off because i was afraid my Batterys would die and and that Cost me 10 points plus lost 5 points on something else for a total of 15.I only had one person ask to listen to my Car the whole week-end.It would have been nice to have some feed back, but how do you get feed back if nobody listens to it.
