Hi Neill. By the way good # this past weekend. which record you looking for (class) if it is adv 721-1440 it is 171.7 held by Krik they do not reset their records like Db drag he had to beat the # from the previous years finals to get it. Tommy has the 1441+ I think it is 170.7 or somewhere around there. 1-720 is heled by a semi tank that runs gates 10's 6 of them I think it is like a 169.9 or something they were at daytona but I think they only manageda 166 or so.

Nah.... Just do like me. If you think you are the loudest in the class, put World record holder stickers on the windows. If you get beat, pull them off.
Better not have to pull them off though.

The only bad news guys is the meter last year was exactly 3 db high!! LIKE the calibrator was doing 164 and the mic reads 167.. So keep it in mind!! The mic this year is Terry Floyds and it is within tenths of Wayne's..

And Terry Floyd's wasn't used for finals last year.
At Steel Valley (the last 3x before SSR, this past weekend) IDBL used Terry Floyd's meter on day 1, and a brand-new, fresh outta the box AC meter on day two. Most competitors were within 10ths of their day 1 score, some were dead on.
I know Terry had his sent off to AC to be re-calibrated prior to SSR. And in the off chance Terry taps me to do idbl at finals, I'm going to request we have a calibrator there, on site, and it will be used frequently. I'm also going to suggest that he does this no matter who runs idbl at finals.

GOOD NEWS KRISA.. iTS AN AUDIO CONTROL.. You don't have to calibrate it each time. Our Meter does the same each time... But having the calibrater there so people can complain but the AC will Speak the truth!!!

I know you don't have to keep recalibrating ACs - but I'd rather have one there just in case. There was enough complaining about the mic's at last year's finals that I don't think having a calibrator there would hurt.
