Does anyone know for sure what it takes to qualify for Idbl finals, I was told if you place in 2 regional events you get to go.... is that true? Also when is the cutoff date for points towards finals? Also when is finals exactly and where is it gonna be? N.C?

30 pts gets you considered 70 pts gets you a definite invite.

October 19-21 in Charlotte, NC.

how many points do you get for each place?? ive managed 4th in every show so far...

140.1db with mmats d300hc and giant tear in cone
142db with 600 watts...
146.0 with the mmats, but serious voltage dropping problems...

1st place is 10 points, down to 10th place which is 1 point. Key events are 2x point value and Regionals are 3x point values.

So, I have 2 1st and 2nds at regular shows for a total of 38 points.

SO i have never become a member of IASCA but I have won three 1X events in 161-260 in Zone 4. What should I do? I can still go to one more show that is failry close to me. Not that I would do very well in finals but it would be an experience.

you would have to get a membership, and call up the shows and have them send the results to iasca. i didnt finally recieve my membership until a week ago, so technically i only have the 5 point member bonus...

SO what are the rules with alternators in Stock class as well as how many amps can you run?

Actually I belive it's 70 points that get you consideration for finals. Winning regional events and state champ events used to get you an automatic invite, but I don't think so this year.

You can just come to the show as a spectator. But i have no clue what the entry fee would be.
