when I was using just 1 amp I was doing around 148. Now that I've got 2 amps I've been hitting 151-153. But now I'm going to switch to a little hatchback car hoping to get up around 156.

Well, I was at the show on saturday and I don't think that I saw any of you all there. I'm kind of second-guessing my competiting in Stock 1-160 because of the AMAZING scores that I saw. First got 153+, second did 152.4, third did 150.8!!! Those are some damn high scores for 2 10's!!! There weren't even that many people at the show this time. I'm pretty sure that I could have nailed 3rd in Stock 161-360 with my daily driver because I would have had to be a low 148 Overall, turnout wasn't as i expected. It's all good though.

Who hit the 153 in 1-160. I was at the show but I didn't compete. I was there with the guy that did the 150.8 in stock 1-160. I was holding his windsheild when he did his run. I saw your car with the kove sticker across the windshield though.

Don't know, but Tiny Tunes popped a 163 with one voice coil on one of his woofers playing...THAT was impressive I thought, especially with out the interior mods...

Ummm....the guy who hit 153+ had 2 hammer pro 10's in a VT box with 2 Memphis 1000d's. He also had a bunch of batteries. O ya, you were one of the two guys holding the winshield with cloth. I was watching the whole event, but I didn't feel like joining the competition.
I actually saw someone else using Kove there, but I wasn't impressed at all. There was a guy there with a wall and 2 X-Series armageddon 15's. He had 4000 US Amps watts going to his subs and he only did a 153!!! I really don't see how people with these types of scores get sponsored.
Were the mics somewhat high at the show??? After this show, I'm frightened to compete in 1-160 lol.

The Blazer with the Memphis amps and 16 volt charging system...Ben knows the guy.
About the other Kove car...he is from around where I live...and that car is much louder than a 153...he shows up just to get points, and does what he needs to do to win- that's it. I've seen that car do a 154 on a Termlab mic...go to last year's winners on the IASCA site, search under Adv 1-360 class and his scores are under "Autosound." He owns his own shop.

i saw that same kove car at the warner robbins show... he got lost and showed up late, they let him pay and take 4th(last) place since he had driven so far... he was happy just to get the points... he hit a 155 or so i think, but he was under no stress since he couldnt raise his standings.. he seemed to be taking it easy on his stuff... plenty more there.. seemed to be a pretty smart guy and real nice... yeah he does own his own shop also...
