I have three Rockford punch 200 amps powering 6 JL audio 12's, one top a pair. I have it at 2 ohm right now and am hitting 147.7db in competition. Does anyone know if I could drop to 2 amps and still get all the power necessary to get a higher score. I was also thinking of dropping it to 1 ohm but I was told that it is not too stable. I need help. I also plan on adding 2 more subs soon.

i agree dropping to one ohm is unstable but why would u cut out two amp?!?!? if you hit 147 be happy. also if ur planing to add more subs try one amp per two subs at 2 ohm. maybe itll get better maybe it wont i dunno im just babbling
