Im looking for a 150 Im currently getting a 148.5 using 3300 watts real power. the box has 2 6" aero ports the box is 4 cu ft after sub displacement. I know everyone says to go smaller. If I do that would yall keep both aero ports or doing something less. Just let me know what yall think. Its a pioneer spl sub (ts-w8102spl) 15".

you could try testing your port length, and firing the box different directions if you havent already done so. but for that vehicle and woofer it seems like a pretty good score

I have not tried adjusting anything except the seats. I do not have sound deadner but I will add it to the roof soon. I had a freind sit on the roof and I gained a tenth so i think sound deadner might help a bit.

I will in the next couple of weeks build a ney box> I plan on using the aero ports still But I will go from 4.2 cuft to about 3.6. The sub takes up .28 and If I get close I want a little room to add resin to the corners so after all that I hope to have it around 3.2 or 3.3 cuft. Also I plan to put a large round over on the outside corner of the box that goes from the front of the box to the side that has the ports, I just think that may help air flow. Tell me what you think and any Ideas are welcome. Thanks everyone

use a good quality damping material, like Damplifier Pro. don't bother with massloaders like Fatmat. Adding the damping will probably lower the frequency your car desires....so I would do that before rebuilding the box

sometimes two ports make standing wave and cancellation. Have you tried one port of bigger diameter?

I have not tried one port> when i was doing my current set up I was asking if 1 larger port was better than 2 and no one knew for sure but I will do that on the next bow. Im thinking Using pvc tube and making a flaer out of mdf and fiberglass.

Sub up drivers side, port up passengers side, slot port. I would try a 8" port if possible or a slot port of the same area.
