same questions sams1 had.....?????

and, for daily, 90sq.in of port is huge for 2-10's...especially tuned at 44Hz. that's big even for competition if you don't have a vehicle i haven't heard of that is super long

it sounds to me like you need a box with interchangable ports. 2.5cf for 2-10's at 44Hz, not a great combo. tuned at 44 you would not want any more than 2cf. tuned at 34 you might be ok at 2.5cf. but you're going to blow up subs tuned that high, in that big of a box, with that big of a port tuned that high.

They are 2 10 inch crunch gorund pounders. I had them in a 3 cube box after port and sub displacement last year with 50 sq.in. of port tuned to 46 hz. I have room for the port in my car it is only 38 inches long. With the box they were in i had a personal best of 145 burp on 1200rms. This is going into a 00 chev cavalier which peak RF is 46 tuning to 43-44 gives me my exact note.

Here is my setup from last year. I was told by some team members to go as big as 3.9 cubes after port and displacement with 70-80 sq.in of port. These subs like big ported and have not had any problem with them in bigger boxes. I thought for this year i would try smaller box, bigger port.

in a trunk you will almost always see 44-49hz peaking.....the box in your link looked fine but if you set the subs offset "1 at bottom and the other near the top of the box" it would work better, also try a bit more port area in a box that big, 100-110 sq" the box should be around 3.2 ft after sub and port displacement so approx 4.5 ft gross volume....the port will be long so the extra port area will help decrease the length allowing your rear wave to travel faster out of the box.

a friend of mine did 153 out of his cavalier trunk, so i know its possible

As Canadian no-wall stated above, put the subs as he suggested and squeeze as much port as you can outta it under 150 sq in.

We have the Cavy he was referring to and best to date is 153.8db single 15" sub.
