just curious if anyone has used these vehicles in SPL. Could probably do half decent in a no-wall setup I thik. I remember steve cook build one with 4kws and MTs but cant find the thread of his build.

Anyone else have setup pics ad results from these vehicles?

Thanks

Hey I got your Pm but your mailbox is too full to reply.

No pics on your original question. Maybe email Steve Cook and ask.

Steve's truck has Incriminator Audio 18's in it. Death Penalty series.

He competes in SQ with it now. He came in second in a money round last weekend with it. Sounds awesome.

Here are a couple of an Escalade Ext that I did. It's not a spl setup at all, but it was a nice all JL Audio setup with 2 12" W6's and 2 500/1's. Also an Alpine flip screen and JL components on a 300/4. Needless to say the guy loved JL.

He had a ton of wood grain accents in the truck so I went with that theme on the sub box too. The box was 3.25 after displacement in a common chamber with 4 4" pvc ports tuned to 38hz. Sounded awesome on music but only did a 141 on the TL. Wasn't ment for spl by any means like I said, but he was very happy with it.

A friend of mine had an Escalade with two 18" Kicker Solo X's on 4 Sundown 3000D's and was doing 153's on the TL.

These are old pics of Steve's truck from past shows. this is still either with the crossfire or the RE subs. Like I said above, he has IA Death Penalty subs in there now. Front stage has changed and so has the HU. Amps for front stage have also changed. Basically the sub enclosure is the same and the Memphis amps for the subs are still in there. Everything else is different, but I don't have any new pics.

thanks for the pics. Definitely really like those doors.

Im definitely going to put a plexi window on the rear of my enclosure build or perhaps the top depending on how I have the enclosure constructed internally.

Im thinkin about going with 4 9918s with white composite cones. Enclosure would be about 22 cubic feet with 400 sq inches of port tuned to 34 hz. Running 2 AB 500.1s as my power

yeah, i've got a set just sitting in the box. only 50rms, that's a weak rating. i'm sure they could take more if you put it to them, but it just seems week.
I've got a set of the excelon components too, haven't gotten to listen to either yet. just sitting in their box

i've ran a pair of them for the past year or so (the ones in the pictures actually)

I've ran a sundown 100.4 bridged to them using the factory crossovers with no problems until yesterday...and a tweeter stopped working

Now I've gotta figure out if its better to buy replacement PRS tweeters or get a diff set of tweeters

I highly doubt that.. I think he meant burp score, and even with that I'm surprised it does that with the enclosure pic I saw to be honest..
