Hi All i have a volswagon r-32 and we are building a SPL system for a competion no wall I have 2 zx 1500.1 kicker amps and either a 15" stroker old school with the pin or 2 13w7 JL subs which is going to hit harder for a purly spl show. I need to hit about 150db on term pro without modifying the car too much.

the older stroker will give you much better results for sure.....be sure to strap those amps together on this sub if you want it to perform, and it will..
Im not sure if im familiar with the model of yor V-dub, but could you describe it and perhaps tell me what kind of enclosure your planning to build? and if your interested in a 2 sub system let me know...i have a dvc stroker 15" 2ohm that needs a cone, $60 and its yours, im in Ontario

I think the R32 is basically a high performance version of the GTi/VR6/Rabbit... also called the Golf in Europe.
if you run the two 13w7's...you'd have to run the zx1500.1's at 3ohm each, or 6ohm strapped. I doubt you could get those amps to play at 1.5strapped(0.75/amp). not gonna get you much power
