Well, I got my first test in today. I pulled a 150.59@ 58Hz. I think I pushed the new sub a bit too hard! started to smell so I called it a night. Not bad for my first test. I know she'll give me a lot more after some tuning.

I think you will have a lot of cancelation wtih the port back in that box.. put the port to the front. and make the box longer for better handleing on the subs

The most I could do now is flip the box, port to the front and sub to the back. I tested today and got a 51.5 which ain't to bad. I know it could be better.

on a 16v bank, I think it might be a little bit more then 12kw.lol but I get the meaning. the problem is none of my other subs started stinking like that.

As for me, I did a 143 to open but had electrical problems in the semi finals, system went into protect. Found out later, I over charged the batteries. Dam! something I should have checked for. I got beat buy a newbie with a 131. He ended up being 2nd. at the show. even though I was pissed, I was glad for him. 1st. show and coming home with a 2nd. place trophy, I'm sure he is happy.

You know, I had wondered about this in the past that overcharging could be a bad thing. The other day I did just that and I ended up being down a few tenths on the TL. Interesting...

It depends on your amps and their protection level. I don't like to go past 18v at any time! but this time I did and I found out what happens.

Yes, respect the battery and it will last long. Over-voltage only on controlled cases.

Gavin you should be able to do a 155+ with that much power on that sub.

I'd try doing everything firing back toward the rear or sub up port back at the rear or something.

You should be able to do a 150+ with 1 amp in there man
