right now it only a single layer build, gonna brace it with 2 rods inside plus some 2x4 on the outside. should be zero flex. box is 6 cubes and using 2 6" aeroports for breathing. should sound pretty nice.

Nice, another anti screw box.
Bernie, before things go sideways. explain your comment please. [What]

Did you use any screws in the construction of that box? That is all.

Bernie, yes I did. most of them are covered over with body filler. Trust me, the box wouldn't be standing there if there weren't any screws. [Laugh]

if you go to a metal fabricating shop, you could ask them to build you a pair of "bell mouth's" theyre used in industrial ventilation to connect large diameter duct pipe to a square one.

it could run you around $65 u.s.d

Aeroports are fun! I started with a 22"er and wound with a 12 on that 18, but 10 actually worked the best.58-59 hz was best in my car and box was best at 4cf. For the record, My best was only a 158.3 I believe. Pete did the 59 and change at finals. I got tired of lugging 16 batteries in and out my car - it is my daily afterall!
22"
 -
 -
12" 'converted' to 10"!!! Not many people have seen this- and it was the highest scoring port!
 -
 -
My team mate made this for me at work! Nice reducer!!!
 -
Enough for now. I have so many pix!!!

I ran out of time before finals. This was quick and easy way to utlize the gear I had at the time. So, I started with 12" and found that 10" was better, but - I had to improvise, so, we funneled the 12" down to meet the 10" flare.
16 16 volt Kinetiks!

Well, here's what I got so far. 1st comp is on the 12th.
 -
there is almost 0 space on the sides for the batteries and amps, hence the location of everything.
 -
as you can see! [Frown] Gotta stack the amps. 4 gp pro3000d's, and add the aeroports.

Question, How far from the back hatch do you suggest?

im kinda confused? what class are you entering? regardless though, you dont have enough vent for the 18" but you should be trying to get fairly close to the hatch with them, like within 8-10" at least. i would assume if your vent was larger it could be further away

Quad if you want to talk crap in No wall you better be ready to back it up. Don't talk smack round here about low power numbers in No Wall I will pawn you every time.

Lets see a ruler with amp guts to prove 600 watts [What]
