I know the guy that you speak of (Loganberry). He's on smd.com also. We've had a few differences before and just to let you know he's a 17 or 18 year old kid that isn't even doing a 150 to begin with in his own vehicle. He also isn't bassracing a 149.9, in fact at the last show he went to on this past Saturday he bassraced in the 139.9 class since his vehicle isn't capable of a 149.9 to begin with. You wanted his stats page, well here it is enjoy

Allthough he admits in the topic that he's only doing a 148 in his truck. So he's trying to play big baller on a forum that he thinks no one will call him out on. I'd post up a link to the topic above and call him out so it may take him off of his high horse over there.
The equiptment he has should easily do a 150, but for some reason it isn't even really that close a 148 is not a 150. Hell, I'm doing over 3db louder in my car with a no wall setup and less power.
I also liked the part on the f150 forum where he goes on about DC being one of the top 3 subwoofers in the world. I guess that's why all the world record vehicles have DC in them huh

Me thinks its very easy to get over 150 with the right gear. I did with a crappy box 150+ on 33hz and 153.8 on 40hz ... with 2 x 18" APXX and 2 x DD Z1's
Bassrace 152.2 with crappy timing, now with hard work i'll try to reach to 155db on 40hz

after seeing what this does to the spl shows in my area, he reflects what the rest of american young youth do , whine, biotch and complain, they only see what happens in videos,or veiw websites to see how builds are done. they dont listen, i have few shops who have asked me to be quite let them spend the monye to stimulate the economy ,educate them later.

Trunk cars area diffrent type or beast. A trunk is not going to play high freq's and that will make it harder. To get a 150 burp in most trunk cars I would guess $1000-1500 in gear maybe $200-500 more to be able to play music that loud. To get a trunk car playing music well into the 150's would be doing something. I dont think a 1st time builder would be able to do this, experince would be a key factor.....or lots or money.
I totally agree with you! Thats what I originally wanted to do.But looking into it, without some significant work and destroying a $50k Lexus interior I've kinda given up. It would be easy for a small bandwidth, but I want it to have a -3db no higher then 30hz. If I could pull 150 off with music tuned down to 25-30hz, that would be an amazing accomplishment!
