There are some factors come into play.

1. How close are the subs to their current compression limit with your current power? Are the subs going to be able to convert that extra power into spl and if so how much? You may have to get different subs with more power handling and or different spider configuration to take advantage of the extra power.

2. Will the vehicle itself hold up under the extra power to product the spl?

Ryan from Border Motorsports could better answer your questions. He's had a lot of experience with his super street 1-2 vehicle.
So ideally 1db+ would be nice.

ive tested this in my no-wall set-up. an increase of about 40% power, seen a 1.7db gain...this also decreased my note by 1hz, re-tuning was another small gain.. its probally different in a vehicle like yours though, im sure your peak note is about 12-15 hz higher than mine!

I am gonna toss a guess out there with a conservative 170.5 dB with the 12 amps.

The problem will be lying in the car I think.
The car has to take the enormous amount of pressure.

TVE gained exactly 2dB by more than doubling there power.

i know this may not matter i guess.

but i have seen in my van with 8 2000 watt amps and 14 batteries on 4 subs mojo,s running each amps at 1 ohm .

i was doing 158.8 , then changed to 4 different subs {will not say which ones }running amps at .7 ohm each

I was doing 161.2 .so subs may play a part in your set up right now .

so a sub change increased my number by 2.4 dbz
