Hi,
i am using L7 15"(4+4om) for a year, now i am doing 147+db on 54hz, in 94'civic coupe.. in 1.5cu/feat box with 2 round 4" ports, 22"long.. all box walls are 2", amps - 2* Oxygen Audio Jet2 1.3 (cadance zrs10) bridged (2oms), stock battery + Optima red top 4.2l.. maybe someone can give me advice, what type of box i ned to build to get better scores? make bigger box? bigger ports? distance from front ant back walls.. sorry for bad english..thanks who will say some advices

maybe try replacing one of the 4" with a 6". then try upsizing both.
more powerful amps
better battery

In StreetB, you can't have two batteries.

i know with batteries, is just for now.. what you can say about box size ant type ? my box is not to little ?

are you for real a 15" esp a L7 in a 1.5cf box,wow...

I would have it in no less 3.25 cf! 4 if you have the room.

the car is Civic Coupe [Smile] i saw that big box is lowering the freaquency.. sub don't like lower than 50hz freq. on 2 Oxigen audio.. still searching good box size.
yeasterday i made a 2.4cu.f box, with port of 60inch2, and 20 inch long. and it made 144+db at 49hz (legal)
and 146.3db with opened driver doors.. then played some basstests on 100+v in amps output and damaged the coil.. now i will try shorter port..

For spl and your frequency I'd step the box up to 2.5-3cf with a single 6" aeroport or if you can fit two that would be even better. 1.5cf is to small for a 15" even for spl with your frequency.

yah for sure shorten the ports. Should be almost half the length then they where with the small box.
