My buddy brought the steel up to a local machine shop and had some holes drilled and threaded for the bolts that are holding the sub in place. We decided to put allen keys instead of the usual hardware..

So far so good. I'm working at a pace which seems it couldnt go any slower but things will be picking up. Thanks for lookin =]

Its about 200-250 pounds.. too heavy for my skinny ass to pick up alone. I think the cars gonna break in two when i put the box in with the plate and speaker..

If I could have mad it from wood it would have gone down like that.. the thickness of the wood i would need would choke the back of the sub and impede air flow. Steel was the only real option.. I want to take more pics but it all seems to boring after i post it online. The pics dont tell anything really.. my camera is really ****ty as well so that doesnt help much.

Oh and you gotta see this video. The black frost is a ****in maniac. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbvQ6rNdNiI

Thanks for watching and expressing your curiosity. =]

Thats a wierd video, whats it from? I think your on the right track with the one inch steel, the car will hold up. The suspension may not! but with that being 1" steel im gunna guess and say that flexxing isn't gunna be a problem. One thing is forsure if you can pull it off you'l probably louder then most in your class simply becuase of that!

The video is from "the mighty boosh"

I love that clip lol..

My class is ext 1 =[ I'm not gonna be louder than anyone for a while I think.. Ive seen alot of european guys using the steel plates and stuff.

Thats kinda what I thought. I'd be happy with a 160. That was the original goal.. If it goes higher than so be it. 160 will let me sleep at night =]

It made a noise.. My neighbors thought their dryer had broken.

 -

Thats plugging it into the wall, 110v x 38a , a warm up.. The box is in the car. The amp rack is in the car. Its getting closer and closer.. its just so hard to come up with money and time all the time to do it. Lately I've been feeling motivated to do something almost everyday after work so you'll be seeing more updates in faster intervals in the future.

Once again thanks for watching and have a good one.
