Well I guess I should post my build and let you guys know what its doing and maybe make a few friends in the process.

I got the car in a shady car dealership in San Diego CA drove it to FL and never got the tag renewed. Now its pretty much gutted for an extreme spl build with no end in sight.

It all started.....

Two modified MA4000D's fell into for next to nothing.. then two more. The speakers that were custom made for the amps also got them for next to nothing.. then i sold em and got an APXX 18. I didnt want to be the only guy in ext 2 with some 15's.. I work at a battery store and got 12 8v golf cart batteries to run a 16v system.

Thanks for looking. I know my camera is terrible. It does the build no justice. Its moving along though.. hopefully I'll be done soon.

For a first build, it looks good. I can see what they are talking about with those 10g wires, rule of thumb, use the biggest wire possible in your build, remember, your building for EXTREME! keep the pics comming.

I can understand but remember, the more weight you add, the more upgrades your gonna have to do, like shocks, springs and maybe your axle. Example, I added 18 batts plus my amps, wire and wood and in the end, my van looked like a baby with pupu diapers on! LOL so and upgrade to the real had to be done. If you can, try to balance your weight. Just some advice from someone still trying to get loud!

The great Alan Dante has spoken to me.. what should I say?

You're right Alan. The concrete is there to make a flat surface to lay the box upon. Also, concrete goes hard.

Its heavy already but I havent filled it with polycrete yet either. Luckily I'm like the strongest man in the world and can lift it by myself.. I'll just have 6 people helping me for looks. =]

Seriously I have access to a crane to move it any serious distances through the yard then into the car will be nothin but muscle and yelling.

When I look at ya'll extreme cars it makes me sick. I nearly have an anxiety attack from how non extreme it appears compared to yours. The only thing stopping me is money.. I make $24k a year..

Started working on a primitive lift for the rear end. =] basically just a box steel spacer to raise it a few inches. The floor braces are cut open and ready to be braced when i get some more box.

I might have to pour the floor or do a wood build out.. what do you guys think?

I got some metal a few days ago and the lift on the back is finished.. unless something breaks. The car looks awesome on the ground. It needs to come up in the front a bit.. The roof is about to get serious when this box gets chopped down a bit.

I've been considering very much about the material to fill the floor with. Seems like resin + sand is the way to go to take up air space. I'm open to suggestions and alternatives. Ive even PM'd some of you guys about this. =] Thanks for your answers.

Pics coming when I get some light.
