Do you think I could pop a 155 in ssnw with 2 T3 TSNS 18's in the back of my Yukon in boxes similar to my current ones below(7+ cubes ported) with 2 groundpounder 3000d pros on each one?

I would have fired the ports back and used aero ports instead of a slot port. You need to resin the inside, outside, and also do 45 degree angles in all of the corners inside the box. That will help too, but I think with the way everything is now you won't see over a 152.

The tsn has a really stiff suspension. In the experience Nick and I have had with the TSN woofers you will need an enclosure that is not daily oriented for that kind of a score. This enclosure is way to large to do anything over really low 50's at the loudest. Not knocking the setup at all though... I am sure it will be great on music.

it's all in the detils, i believe a 55 just may be possible but like i said you are going to need everything to be top notch and no weak links anywhere

in my expedition I lose almost half a db by doing angles

ive already done over a 154 with 2 15s in my tahoe off of 1 7000.1 so if ur going to be running 4 3000ds that shouldnt be a problem i ask a smilar question just too see who's already doing over a 155 with two subs.

SLIM 823, nice boxes! I always like to double up on the face, did you use any cross bracing inside the box? if not i definately would! in the installs I've done and worked on we've seen as much as a full db going from slot to aero ports! subs up, ports back is what i would do! give about 4"-6" from the ports to the tailgate area also so the box can breathe! thes are just some reccomendation's Good Luck!

THe only thing is, if i have ports firing back, they will be 2" from the back door, there isnt much room for the port to breathe. I could do it if I made my boxes smaller. right now they are at about 8 cubes each plus port.
Yup I have some cross bracing in there too Ron! The top baffle is doubled also.
I'll have to post a few more pics, but the boxes have been finished for a few months. That photo is from when i was in the process of building the boxes.

i think youd have a better chance if you used 2 12s. More enclosure options.

you need a better box, way better box. that design is poor for spl.
and like Waggy said, you'd have better chances with smaller subs.

No updates yet. Anything and everything that can take money outa my pocket has happened recently. Hoping to have some updates early 08, I think im gonna stick with my FI's for 2009 then switch it up in 2010. I love 18's though, I may just settle for low 150s with a lil sq & spl. Stay tuned
