Im looking for some good 6½ comp speakers for my car.. i got 2 spl dynamics ext3000 to handel the bass, now i only need some very good speakers, that could play with the bass
what should i look for? It dosent have to be to expensive, im not rich

Boston Acoustic Pro SE's. The newest one. They use the tweeter and AMD from the Z series, but at half the cost. But damn, the SPZ series with an inch of excursion is sweet if you have big money.

These get awesome reviews from everyone and not to expensive. About $250 on ebay. These are my next speakers.

You could always look for deals on used high end... I paid $340 for my boston z6's... sealed incloseres in the doors and they get loud with great midbass

those are actually the old model, the PRO60's. The new version is the PRO60 SE. Usually with metal tweeters, you get lots of harmonics at the upper end of the audible spectrum. The PRO's use the "SLim AMD. The new PRO SE's use the more advanced AMD, which acoustically filters out the harmonics for a more balanced sound

try contacting boston acoustics...see if they have a retailer in your area. We haven't gotten the new SE's at our shop yet. but i think they are just now available, or will be very soon.

I was planning on those but couldnt wait, went with alpine type x pros and lost the lame tweeters that came with.
