i have a question i have an 1.25 cubic inch pvc tube for 1 15" and i want to tune it to the peak freq. of my car. i dont know what frequency is best for spl in my car i have a 4 door mitsubishi mirage and im going to use aeroport 3" and the woofers are RE XXX thanks in advance im new to this of port is there any advantage using larger aeroports

in sealed i measured in the 58 thanks

couple things 1.5cf is too small for any 15" ported. a re xxx is a sql sub re makes a mt for spl. a 3" port is way tooo small for a 15". sorry for being negitive.

what are you going for daily, comp?

no theres no problem thanks for helping im planning for comp i already used it sealed with less than 1 cubic feet and it works fine but im planning using it port with pvc and aeroport and if i use 2.0 cubic feet that would be better or not thanks

ok your saying i should use 6" aeroport in the 2.0 cubic feet tube how long i should put them to get to 53 hz aproximately thanks

Try looking at the calculator on the aeroports website,
www.psp-inc.com

it's pretty close and it'll get you started. Your not gonna find a definite answer without testing it. Getting loud isn't about asking someone else the right sizes, it's about testing over and over again. Someone might be able to get you close, but your going to have to test everything to get it right.
