Anyone used any of these combos before? Which would you choose & Why? Any other suggestions within the same brands. Prefer the sound of 12's but may sway to 15's. Music that will be played is mainly R&b, Hip Hop & Reggae.

Pimpin, you have been doing this for years and I am going to take your advise. Do these woofers sound decent? Any advise on the box? I am going ported on these 12's.

With the amount of power you are using you can do a decent size box. I would say about 2.5cuft per woofer with 80 sqin of port for the two. Since it's a demo car you should probably tune it real low anywhere from 30-35 hz. Since the port is fairly large for a low box it will move a ton of air and shake the hell out of stuff. It probably won't be a mic friendly box, but in an Integra you may be able to pull a decent score.

I can't speak for what you listed but ZAPCO is some of the sickest sound quality amplifiers that I've ever heard and they just released a nice sub line. Ask around and a lot of people will agree. But I would bet what you're looking at is good too.

i dont have much experience with the sq but the ap i do. i would not do 80sq" of port due to the enclosure would have to be large. i would do 2 3" aero's per woofer or 3 4" for the pair. remember he is wanting to tune low. a port shouldnt be longer than 20" or you can run into problems. so 2cf net per sub would be perfect. the ap drop really low and handle some power.
i had a customer run a single ap15 for 2 yrs with 2400rms (sub rated at 1k rms) pounding it all the time and all he did was drive. it finally blew, lol. 2.5x rms for that long, lol.
what dose ur electrial system look like? dont plan on running this amp off a single stock battery...

Okay I'll refigure on what I said before and also what pimpin said. In order to shorten the port you could use only 60sqin instead. Because with an internal air space of 2.5cuft per woofer with 60 sqin of port area and 20in long will produce 33hz. Myself I have never had any problems with a port being longer than 20 in, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. That keeps the port shorter than 20 and will still move a lot of air and shake everything. Myself I would tune it higher only because I don't really listen to rap or hip hop at all. I prefer music with bass guitars and natural drums not synthisized bass or drums like in hip hop. If you want I have a bad inclosure that will tune the subs to 41hz play low and still get super loud let me know.

Also the second box I mentioned does play Reggae very well, as I listen to it on a daily basis. Most of the reggae I listen to is tuned right around 40 hz, but if you would like to play rnb or rap music the first enclosure I described should work pretty well.

remember you have to subtract the displacement of the sub and port to calculate tunning...

I don't see it on the list but if you have the battery support and are serious about the high power SQ part, consider getting a big power A/B-Class amplifier.
Check with the manufacturers of the products you listed and see what they have.
D-Class is efficient but no contest for SQ against a big power A/B-Class amps.
D-Class: 1.0% THD & N or more vs. A/B-Class: 0.002% THD & N.

^ John is correct on the a/b amps not only lower thd but the dampen factor is soo much higher on a class a/b too. i run class a/b's for bass but you have to upgrade ur alt and have a extra battery if ur planning on 1500rms + a/b amp...
