PPL,

I need your help. I'm trying to help / advice people here who are intrested in DB Drag. They know very little about equipment and how to go about choosing the right stuff. Well, to make a long story short, what companies would you suggest to someone new to the sport? of course, I suggest my favorites! hehehe

Hifonics
Cactus Sounds
Atomic
DC soundlab
powermaster
kinetik
Hooker audio

I also need to know if they will support clients who purchased there products overseas! from a dealer (not the net!)EXAMPLE: A team mate of mines was using XX brand, the rep over here told him that the amp will work at 16v @ 2 ohms... well, he went below 2 ohms and the amp smoked! fine. he wanted to send it back to the US to get repaired and the company refused to repair it because it was sold overseas! companies like this, I don't want to be bothered with!

thanks for all suggestions in advance [Smile]

Memphis mojo subs and amps for a beginnner because they are easy to work with, not terribly expensive and the combination does work well enough for the first time competitor. I made it to finals and placed 5 th in the world with only half the amps allowed for the class.

There are competitors all over the world using DD products. I myself have never owned or delt with them, but from what I can tell they take care of their customers in other countries.

Standard business practice.

The rep in your country is responsible for repairs.

I think Maxxsonics services all over the world. You can contact Mike Stires or John Studly for info about overseas warranty. I think DD does good over there. And Cactus probably wouldn't have a problem.

Give us a list of brands that are currently available over there now. And we'll give you suggestions out of what you already have available to you.

dtbrown,

Minus DD I got my teammates over here, just looking for other products that the top people are running in comps. Right now RF is the microsoft of car audio here. I'm just trying to open their eyes to other products.. but you know I'm pushing mines too!
