Why do walls not make sence? lol. Been putting in wedges changing port sizes and the original port and box size is bigest numbers thus far.Box is 29.7 qu ft with port size of 774 for Four 18" RD audio Heavyweights. Currently two cactus sounds 5kw amps looking at getting two more just runing one amp per pair of woofers. Tryed puting in big wedges to shrink box dwn 6.4 qu ft and shrunk port dwn to play about my feq lost 1.3 DB. So is it not about tuning the port but just all trial n err? Any one have any sugestions? or is it just the econoline van hurting my spl.

im torn between an astro and my econoline. My econoline is a 3/4 ton can take the weight and has more room in the back for when on the road and driving it to the shows. But the astro may be louder. the astro'ss i have came acrossed thus far wouldnt make it out of state let alone out of town.

by adding layers inside the box channged my note from a 57 to a 63. moe depth to the port n all.

ordering recones, my woofers want way more power than I have. so getting suspension losened up changing spyders and phm load on coils hopefull this helps. b/c right now only getting about 2,000 watts per woofer n the want 6k pluss.
