Just want to clear something up that some of you may or may not be thinking.

Have had a few people make comments that "Must be nice to have money" or "How far in debit am I ?".

I would just like to let any one reading this thread that I have paid for EVERY thing out of my pocket, no credit what so ever. I also have a wife and family that I support. I am far from rich and don't make much money.

Every thing I have I have saved for....been 7 months saving a little here and there for what I have .I'm still 1 amp short and it looks to be a while before I can even afford that. To get me started last year I sold just about every thing I had that was car audio related as well as my "Summer" car.

I have given up most every thing I would put time or money into because I just seem to love doing this.

To clear the record I wanted to make sure people have the right idea about me. I don't have the best suff or a lot of it but what I do have is mine. I have worked hard for what I have and don't take well to people assumeing other wise.

That is something to be proud of. Wish I could say I didnt charge anything thats in my build. My batts, plexi, vehicle, and a small portion of the steel and wood are paid for but quite a bit of the wood and steel were charged. Keep up the good work.

Should have batterys in the end of this week. Only got 12 Interstate Work-a-holica's for now but it's a start. Maybe a couple more 12 before finals.

My center suport should also be finshed tommorow. Then I just need to fill it with poylester resin to make sure it dosn't have any harmonics in it.

Well got a little more work done on the box this week.
Installed my center suport, had to settle for 3/8 wall tubeing and 3/8 end plates. The suport is a tap/hammer fit... so it's nice and tight.

Got the inside of the box sealed up and started sanding the sealer smooth in the coners.

Box is secured to the van and no loner a threat of the van were to say roll-over in a car wreck.

Seat belts are 100% working and safe....got that pesky Fix-A-Ticket for broken seat belts taken care of as well.

Just starting to mold the box face into the B-pillar...BUT I'm waiting till I start to tune the encloser before I go to far with the fiberglass.

Have a new/used floor mat to put in as well. My old mat has seen far better days and so has the pading under it.

My head unit is now mounted in the dash as well, Hopeing my idea of burping out of the dash works like I plan...... Fusion better not let me down.

I also got my broke winshield replaced as well. Had a small issue with it from driveing over the winter....and far worse than just a 6 foot crack.

Still no batterys, truck didn't make it last week.

As soon as the weather gets better I can get the parts of the van I need repainted/striped. Also droped the patterns for my decals off at the printer today. Should have a nice stack of stickers in a few days.

This build has turned out to be far more work than what I had planed but the weather hasn't helped any.

Sure sound like I'm talking to my self........

Got a little more work done this past week. There is still a LOT of work left but it's getting there. The colder weather has made it hard to work on sealeing and molding the face of the box to my van.

Have a LONG way to go on the fiber glass yet. It will be finshed in body filler(like bondo but stronger) and all my glass work will be nice and round corners and of course SMOOTH.

I am waiting for some more cash to get the fiber glass resin.....I think it might still flex. I also have a LOT of screw heads to cover up inside the box.

The box is sealed up now I just have to get in there and sand the sealer.

One of these days I'll get the rest of my face cut out....2 more sheets. Think it might still flex at 4 sheets thick. I have something planned on the last 2 sheets that might help my #'s. Did some testing lest year and found an incress.

One of these days a certian person will cut the 2x6's for my port.......

Found a good used floor mate as well.....that isn't cracking and that dosn't have rotting carpet padding on it as well.

It's suck...had a NEW winshield installed and they can't seem to get it to stop leaking WATER...I'm getting anoyed.

It's Tiger hair. Has 5 inch strands of fiberglass. VERY strong and sticks to ANY THING. Only draw back is it has to be streched to extend the strands and cover any opeing. It also dosn't finsh out well as it's for LARGE repairs over open area. I was hopeing the store had the short strand version as it's MUCH easy to work with and can be finsh sanded.

Lets just say this stuff will cut right through 60 grit sanding disc's if you catch a rippel in the finsh. It also like to cut the crap out of your hands if you brush it while sanding....Errr grinding.

Oh...the masking tape was to make sure I keep it ALL behind the B-pillar. I left my self 3/4 inch extra to make sure I'm with in the rules.
