Got my alarm installed today. Its not a pageing like I wanted but it works.
Some called me paranid but I am useing 2 Dual shock zone sensors and 2 regulate shock sensors. Added 2 more door trigers as well. I have 2 sirens mounted in the grill....2 sirens under the dash(soon to be pizo horn sirens) and am installing 1 more sirens in the rear of the van and 2 more sirens under the rear bumper.
Think I have enough ? I also set up a 2nd starter kill(that works in congunction with the alarms starter kill) under the hood and used a 2 way relay to make sure that it can't be bypassed under the dash...not like any one will get close enough to the alarm to disarm it seeing how I'm usein 132DB sirens(X2) UNDER the dash and every things tucked up high enough that it won't be easy to disable with out going DEAF.
I am also adding a battery back up to the alarm off a relay in case my batterys OR my main power wire's were cut/unhooked....but VERY unlikely.
At the least a thief will go DEAF and be so mad he won't even care about my system by the time the alarm is shut off.

Ha...Ha...your right the ONE siren YOU put in behind the head light works fine.
Next time you can be the one climbing under the dash.

First let me say my encoluser is FAR from done, or even being ready to burp but decided to try any ways. There a gaps all over the place in it that haven't been sealed, the box isn't bolted down yet and still no center suport. I used 2 car battertys to power the amp and the dash is still pulled apart.
Tonight with 1 of the 4 amps.....coils seriesd and the amp running stereo. Pulled a 140.1. Did some mock up changes with a UNNAMED person inside the box useing a 3 inch chunk of BULLET proof glass......IMPRESSIVE gains. Found a total gain to 145.1. Muc better than I had though I would get, box REALY shows sings of responding well to some tuneing and so on.
Got brave and parreled the coils the colis still to 1 amp. Had to role the volume to keep the amp out of protect from low ohms and found a HUGE gain with only a little more power. Ever thing the same as the first test that did a 140.1 I was able to up the number to a 147.1..........NICE GAIN for only a LITTLE jump in power. Decided to try some of the same tricks as the first test run BUT it is now uncomfortable to be in the box when burping.
Here's the kicker.....the same UNNAMED person was able to stay in the box last year at 153+ with out a issue. These subs seem a LOT stronger and sound like they just keep wanting more power.......I just hope I have enough to give them power wise.
OH.....figured I metchen that this was at 52Hz for my burp note.....box was peaking at a SAD 69Hz. Think the notes are a little off to say the least but I have plenty of 2x6 to tune the note to where it peaks.

I'm hopeing for a 160Db BUT am realy just looking to make a 158Db.....lot more money invested this year and a lot stroner build. I guess only time will tell what I end up with.
What I have amps and sub wise will be all I have to work with all year.....can't afford to do like some and double up amps before finals.

yeah man, 15s to 18s i would say is an easy 3db.
Also...You need to test with a loading wall halfway up the side wall of the box, and almost even with the port.
Another gain...you need to kitty hair to the edge of the b pillar and make it as SMOOTH AS POSSIBLE inside that box.
I'd bondo the entire thing and wet sand it up to about 1000 grit...i've seen the gains that a smooth enclosure can give.
Just some friendly advice man
And more then likely that rack in the back is KILLING your score...If I was ever gonna do a no wall build I'd put the batteries up against the back of the box and do an amp rack that was flush at the back doors, from what I've seen the more open space you have the louder it is.
Shouldn't be a big deal to get to a 160 out of that thing...just gonna take some work

Thanks for the comments guys, was starting to feel like I was talking to myself.
As far as 15's VS 18's in my first a run at NW I ran into the issue of not being able to get enough port area........ it also seems like a lot of the people I have talked to have also said port area was the biggest draw back to NW. By useing 15's I was able to get a LOT more port area than useing 18's. I have also been told and read a LOT of others preaching that bigger subs isn't alawas the way to go. Being this is only my 2nd build in NW I figured I'd take this in small steps. 18's would have only been a little more cost and the same goes for the upgrade to the APXX sub.....I have never used 18's nor any real SPL sub. I'm still learing and didn't want to copy every one else even if it could get me loud.
I want to learn how to get loud and see first hand what upgrades do.
As far as the box to the van I have a few ideas I've been toying with. I have looked at a LOT of diffrent builds. Team BK was nice enough last year to share some pics of there build and give me some pointers. They showd very well how to mold the B-pillar to the encloser.
Also keep in mind by box is far from done. Last night we did do some playing with a 1/2 and 3/4 loading wall behind the subs with diffrent placemnets. We did see that there are a few large gains to be had in there.

Very interesting post but being a super-newb, am having a few probs visualizing how to do them properly . Any chance you got pix?
