I need a list of CEA rated amps starting at 2000 watts RMS to 4000 watts RMS. And do the amps have an under rated ratings? If so what is the actual rating? Example:
Rockford Fosgate BD500.1 rated at 500 watts but actually does 1000 watts.
Please facts only.

Not anymore buddy! Yes I'm still running RE but the PA's are history. Your looking at the proud owner of 2 brand new AP3001D's
And BTW PA got me 12 1st place trophies in the great state of Texas. Before the RE there was Powerbass. 4 15's with the same PA3000DB's. Consistant 155's on the new termlab. For about 1500 in material I can't complain about the PA's bro!

Maybe I didn't make myself clear; the lower end stuff from US Amps is garbage. I have so many returns on the 4000.1 that I just quit ordering the product altogether. Now that is the reason for saying that they are crap.
I used the power acoustik amps to prove a point to alot of disbeleivers that that particular amp was no good but it was for the average consumer. The amp never went into protect mode, it actually fried one of the 15's I used on it during competition season last year. The highest score I posted was 155 on the new term lab and for about $950 that was not bad at all. I have been in this industry for the past 20 years and I started out with the ole school orion beast (2 on 6 18's) and have tested numerous no good amps to check the potential in them and some are just that, crap and some where interestingly good.
I do know that the Audiopipe amps are very much awsome! Just check the thread Audiopipe 3001D and see that one of these amps produced a score 170DB's by fellow competitor BassinD. I am currently redesigning the truck. The RE SX18's are very good but the RE XXX 18's have just arrived. And I will post the results when the install is complete. I am an Audiopipe, RE, Treo, MTX, Rockford Fosgate, and Kinetik dealer but I'm not advertising any of the brands. I'm just letting everybody know about some of the equipment that some have no knowledge of or that don't think is up to par.

I'd rather see my amps go into protect, than clip the **** out of the outputs and fry my subs.

Well it didn't actually fry the sub it blew the sub from the power it put out not distortion. My bad, wrong wording. Although I have not used the new 3000DB's. The ones I had were about 2 years old and had sat on the shelf before I used them for about a year. I do know that the boards have changed. The ones I had were green boards and the new ones have blue boards.
We all know that they are highly over rated and I wonder why they don't just say the true power wattage and still sell the amps. As I was picking up some PA equipment I noticed that they have a BAMF5500 watt amp at cost for 269. That's just ridiculous. This is why I started selling CEA rated amps because the customer gets what they pay for and Audiopipe is CEA rated. PA has some okay subs and that is all I buy of their brand. Best Buy couldn't sell the line so I definitely don't want to get stuck with anymore of their amps. But they are good for the guy that just wants to bump a little and can't afford the heavy weights.
