I installed this very amp for a customer yesterday on 4 MTX 9500 15's and I told him that I had no reserve for this amp (this guy is so cheap) and he insisted that it was bad azz and so this morning I checked my voice mails and low and behold he said the amp was smoking and he didn't have the amp playin hard last night. So I asked him WTF did he want me to do about it especially since he bought it from some glamourous ebay seller. He's now on his way to get the MTX 4000D. I tried to sell him this amp when I built the box for the darn Hummer. You got to go big when drive one of those things. Now he has to go thru getting "credit" for the return. LOL No cash refund! Bummer!

I don't know about the 5000 but the D3 was a really nice amp, super stable, reasonable power output, small size, kinda dirty but I never had any problems with it at 1ohm daily or 0.25ohms for comps...can't comment on the newer stuff though

earthquake has great customer service in Canada.
Quite a few Canadians have used d10s and liked them a lot.

I bought 4 PHD3 since 2003 and I blew only one of them. I have tried a PHD5000 and I blew it after 2 days. Always use at 1 ohm daily and 0.25 ohm competition.
