I agree, with only 16 1000ds we got the SS3-4 record in Australia and with over 500 burps their still going strong and have never gotten warm!

Sorry if some of the dates are messed up. Was hard enough just skimming through the pics without having to remember that each date of show was actually the year before.

look at the amount of amps each of them took.
Now look today at the corporate sponsers willing to GIVE away 30+ amps to a competitor...
I know some manufacturers got tired of getting burnt by competitors not sending amps back, and refuse to do it again.
What companies could you call up now, and request 48 amps for a 13+ vehicle and them say "sure, fill out this form"...Ample won't do it anymore, RF..nope, Audiobahn is POSSSSSIBLE, pioneer, jbl mmats...LOL yeah right
I think dbdrag kind of killed car audio industry as a whole

and Here I am worrying about connecting and setting up 16 amps and 4 subs! lol GREAT PICS!! Its pics like that that keep some of us going! I would love to know
1: they gain matched all those amps. 2: how did they get all the wires to the batts? (some looked like they were build from the inside out!) 3:how long did it take to get everything right!
as stated before. those setups are works of art. If possible, I would like to post some of those pics on my site to show the competitors over here how we do things American style!

For gain matching, amps like the Rockford, you have one master, and the rest daisy chain as slave. The master controls everything so you just leave the slaves as they are.

Does this method work with all amps?
