Chrysler/Simca/Talbot Horizon? would be ok as a street car, still doubt it would excell as much as a CRX or Panda. Are neither of the above options for you to use?

one of those escorts that had no rear seats is what id try.

EXP i think theyre called
 -

they dont look to have a lot of height to them for front firing but could work well with 2 or 3 10s

one more picture

 -

it has no rear deck, should be a plus.

i'm going to view one this comming week, i'm just unaware if the rear seats that lead into the hatch folds down, as my amps would be bolted there.

More comments are welcomed please.

My bad..... it looked pretty similar to the talbot lol.

it looks like it has lots of cushioning to the interior unlike a panda. lot bigger than a panda too, doesnt have a flat screen, guessing bigger dash and deeper footwells? so is many points down on the panda.

It also does not have the massive space advantage of a CRX.

Having said that it could work resonably well, but I would not expect to hit the same numbers as a panda or CRX tbh.

it does have a more that average rear size for an enclosure, the rear seats are pushed closer to the front of the vehicle as you could probably see in the second pic,

thanks for the comments,

Any one else.

I don't need it to be the best, just something to work with and help get me some good numbers, the way things are now i don't think i have enough money anyhow to break any world record, Into the 150's would be enough, just something to build off and learn, without efforts being offset by a bad vehicle.

Another Aussie huh?

I wouldn't go for an old Laser for SPL their is practically no depth in the rear to stay under the window line. About the only worse car is an old Mitsu Colt.

If you're after a cheap 1980s car for street classes I'd look at the N13 Pulsar hatch. Much better choice I think [Smile]
