Has anyone ever ran a 18" sub in a crx? If so how many cubes, port size etc. I'm trying to get pointed in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

I had a RE xxx in mine for most of the season facing forward.

The box was 6cubes and 2 6" aero ports and sounded great on everything. Then I decided to double the port surface with 2 giant slot ports and it sounded like poop but hit higher numbers but still nothing impressive for a crx.

Ran a 18 solox and best was 151. On a optidrive 4000d@1/2 ohm daily. just need more space and power. But mine was a 1987 1st gen SI with sunroof. My 2nd gen was 2.1 dbs louder with same setup. Also a 1990 no sunroof
